 Recently we handle shipment from China to Vientiane, Laos.  Using sea-land combined transport, we take 13 days from Shanghai port to Vientiane and finally delivery to factory. Transportation route: The goods are first shipped from Shanghai to Laem Chabang, Thailand, then transferred and reloaded in Laemn Chabang, till finished we will transported from the container truck in Thailand to the Thai-Lao port for customs clearance, and then directly sent to the consignee’s factory for unloading, etc. The consignee returns the empty container to Thailand directly after unloading the goods. Document needed: There are more materials needed when transporting containers to Laos for customs clearance, as follows: 1. Packing List & Invoice 2. Telex bill of lading 3. Customs clearance power of attorney 4. Permit for transportation of over-regulated cargo.
